Chinese New Year (25th January 2020) is the most important & longest celebration in the Chinese calendar.

It is a time to celebrate the end of an old year and the beginning of a new one.
People celebrate it at home and cooking a special meal for family and friends. 
Chinese New Year - safety tips

  • Keep candles out of reach of children - children should be supervised at all times near flames. 
  • Treat fireworks with great caution- you might want to take a step back from playing with the wrong kinds of fireworks. Be sure you have someone who knows exactly how to handle fireworks
  • Avoid overloading electrical sockets– Be careful while handling electrical Sockets.
  • Most fires start in the kitchen- never leave cooking unattended & be cautious while cooking in hot oil.
  • Don’t drink & drive - Drinking and driving are some of the worst possible things to ever do.
