The shipyard general trade course is designed for all the workers who working and operating in the shipbuilding and ship repairing work companies.
The course has content like basic knowledge of shipbuilding, Identification of hazards, how to understand the safety signs used in the workplace, explain about the personal fall protective equipment, how to escape from a fire emergency, and explain what kind of safety precautions to be taken.
And the trainees must have Workplace literacy level 3 and above. This course has SDF funding and the certification will be provided by the SSG (Skill future Singapore) upon the successful course completion.
