WSHO Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the development of OHS policies and programs
2. Provide safety-related advice and instruction on various topics (noise levels, machinery use, etc.).
3. Enforce preventative measures and conduct risk assessments
4. Ensure that existing policies and measures are reviewed and updated in accordance with the law
5. Organize and initiate employee and executive OHS training
6. Examine premises and personnel's work for issues or nonconformities (such as not wearing protective equipment).
7. Responsible for overseeing the installation of equipment, its maintenance, and its disposal.
8. Take action against any unsafe acts or processes that seem unhealthy or dangerous
9. Worker's compensation claims are handled by recording and investigating incidents
10. Provide upper management with reports on occurrences and statistical information
