What is ISO 9001:2015? Quality Management Systems (QMS)
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard that specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving a Quality Management System (QMS).
A QMS is a structured system of processes, responsibilities, resources, controls, and documented information that helps an organization consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable requirements.
ISO 9001 does not prescribe exactly how an organization must operate. Instead, it provides a framework that allows each organization to establish processes appropriate to its size, activities, products, services, risks, and business objectives.
