Basic Traffic control Course (BTCC)
Basic Traffic Control Course (BTCC) is aimed to get knowledge and practice for workers who are assigned to work at Road traffic work project, these workers must be trained on how to control road traffic safely at their worksite entrance.
Only trained personnel is allowed to be involved in road work-related or traffic control & be full knowledge with safe methods of placing, operating, maintaining and removing devices on the road.
Course Contents are,
- Introduction of practice traffic control at work zone
- Introduction to relevant safety acts and regulations & Job as a traffic controller
- Worker and public safety
- Procedures in an effective lane closure
- Effective placement of warning devices and safety distances
- Traffic controller operation requirements & Theory test.
